AUF KARNIVORENTOUR MIT STEWART McPHERSON
Premiere war am 14. August 2010 im Botanischen Garten der Universität Basel zum schweizerischen Karnivorentreffen. Der Film entstand in Kooperation mit dem berühmten Buchautor Stewart McPherson, dessen Filmaufnahmen seiner Reisen zu den Tepuis Südamerikas von uns editiert und auf DVD zusammengestellt wurden. Zu sehen sind in den bizarren Landschaften der gewaltigen Tafelberge viele Karnivoren-Leckerbissen wie z.B. Drosera meristocaulis, Utricularia jamesoniana und alle 18 bis 2010 beschriebenen Arten Heliamphora. Aber auch Ledothamnus decumbens, eine Pflanze auf dem Weg zur Karnivorie, zwei Arten Brocchinia und diverse seltene Orchideen machen das Reiseabenteuer mit vielen atemberaubenden Helikopterflügen auf, um und über die Tepuis, zu einem einmaligen Filmerlebnis.

ON CP-TOUR WITH STEWART McPHERSON
The premiere took place in 2010 August 14 at the Botanical Gardens of the University Basel during the annual Swiss CP-meeting. The film is a co-operation with the famous author of CP-books Stewart McPherson, who kindly provided his camera shots from trips to the Guiana highlands, which we processed and edited. To be seen are the amazing landscapes of different tepuis including many carnivores like i.e. Drosera meristocaulis, Utricularia jamesoniana and all 18 until 2010 known species of the genus Heliamphora. But also Ledothamnus decumbens, a sticky insect-catcher on its way to carnivory, two species Brocchinia and diverse rare orchids make this documentary with many breathtaking helicopter flights on, around and above the tepuis a really unique film experience.
